The Week In Fractures
The projects are beginning to close in all around me. Old projects that refuse to die and new projects with tight deadlines. Must get the darn things done! Finish them!

Got K8 to meet an old friend who I'll name Ger-Lad. Ger-Lad is quite exuberant about bowling. Was good to see him, and it was funny to hear him discussing finances and porn and friendship all mixed in with his friendly jabs and jibes.

Found a mysterious additional 1K in my bank account. I must be going senile. Where'd it come from?

K8 and I got to watch a neat B5 episode. While I felt that the acting could have been better, I did like how the episode dealt with religion in Science Fiction (and the Roman Catholic religion no less). Issues about whether the soul of someone who's been mind-wiped and given a new personality still bears the STAIN of past sins that he did NOT repent were raised. The question of courage Gethsemane was also considered. And ultimately, the foreshadowing of a sacrifice later in the series...

Busy weekend again... no time to rest... work work work...
